HOLLOW KNIGHT: JOURNEY THROUGH THE RUINED KINGDOM OF HALLOWNESS
At its core, Hollow Knight blends combat, platforming, and exploration. You wield a Nail (your melee weapon) and eventually gain spells for long-range attacks. As you traverse the labyrinthine environments, certain areas remain inaccessible until you unlock specific abilities. Enemies drop Geo (currency) which you spend on items, upgrades, or map tools. If you die, you leave behind a Shade that you must defeat to recover lost Geo. Rest at benches, discover Hot Springs to heal, and chart a path through the sprawling world using maps, quills, and markers.
